Established in 1940, originally as Delhi Polytechnic functioning under the direct control of Government of India, the college is presently under the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Delhi Administration) since 1963 and is affiliated to the University of Delhi since 1952. FACTS

Delhi College of Engineering is one of the oldest technical institutions in India and was established in 1940.
DCE was initially located in the Kashmere Gate campus but was shifted to Bawana. The campus is spread over an area of 165 acres. The campus has residential complex for faculty, students and staff.

- B.E. FULL-TIME COURSES
The admissions to B.E. courses in both the Institutions, Delhi College of Engineering(DCE) and Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology(NSIT), are made centrally by Delhi College of Engineering through the Common Entrance Examination(CEE) in the month of May. Students are selected for various courses depending upon their performance in this test. ENGIFEST - Annual Cultural Festival of the Delhi College of Engineering.

TROIKA - Troika is the Annual Technical Festival organised by the IEEE and IEE Student Chapters of Delhi College of Engineering in the month of February. It is also one of the most prestigious technical festival in the country receiving participation from numerous technical colleges and engineering institutions from all over the country.

MACH - Annual Technical Festival organised by the SAE, ASME & ASHRAE Student Branch. The organisers are mainly students from the Mechanical and Production Engineering Departments.
